Data Collection and Analysis Committee
Charter
The Data and Analysis Collection Committee was chartered on February 24, 2011 by the Pierce County Fire Chiefs Association. The purpose of this committee is to develop a standard methodology for collecting, analyzing and reporting response data pursuant to RCW Chapter 35.103 and 52.33.
Term
The term of the Data and Analysis Collection Committee is from February 2011 to June 2011.
Scope
The sub-committee is advisory to the Pierce County Fire Chiefs Association. In reference to applicable RCW’s and NFPA Standards, the committee scope of work will include:
- Identify standard terminology
- Develop a standard presentation format for all Pierce County fire agencies
- Identify common performance measures and key benchmarks
- Identify strategies to improve data accuracy and fidelity
- Specify performance measures applicable to response time objectives for certain major services
The committee will report to the Pierce County Fire Chiefs Association on the following schedule:
